Rascal

Rascal is an early senior Black Lab mix rescued from a kill shelter. Rascal is missing a back leg and given only a small window of time at the shelter. But let me tell you, Rascal’s brown eyes are the most loving and trusting that you will ever look into. Although we do not know the story of his life, his owner, his true age, or even how he lost his leg – we do know that he has remained loyal and trusting to humans. We hope more than anything that we can help Rascal find calm, loving home to spend the rest of his life in. He is medium in size and gets around great as if nothing is missing at all. He would be content sleeping at your bedside with pats on the head and good conversation. Rascal is still active and enjoys small walks to keep him moving. Please do not let this dog remain alone in a rescue setting. Although we do not know his life’s story, we do know he is very deserving of a loving home at this point in his life. As far as we know Rascal is in good health and ready to have that loving home he dreams about.
