My Story

Meet Ranger Rover PC Oh no, instead of Where’s Waldo, we are doing where is Ranger’s tail? Do I need retail therapy? I actually think that means something else in human, but add to cart if pawsible. The ladies aren’t sure if I was born with a nub tail or if it was docked. The human says Australian Shepherds often can have natural bobtails. But why would all Australian Shepherds name their tails Bob? I have a rangertail. Obviously. Okay, enough about tails! Let’s do a tale instead. I showed up on an elderly lady’s porch asking for assistance. She called Dog House Art House for help and a lady named Beth brought me to Foster Mom Patricia’s house. Foster Mom feels I’m pretty much made of Australian Shepherd, but someone pointed out I have a Gordon Setter vibe too. Another lady pointed out that my long nose reminds her of the 1980’s sitcom character Alf, and I’m taking that as a compliment? I think? Foster Mom Patricia says I do act as an Aussie and shepherd her around, always being right by her side. Just this morning, I helped her access the new Rottie looking puppy. I help ALOT. I enjoy to go in and out of doors and gates following Foster Mom as she is my designated little lamb to herd and keep safe. I do well with most of the dogs here. Some of the dogs find me to be “annoying” as my higher energy herding breed style is not for everyone. But overall, most of the dogs would say I am a neat dude, not annoying. At least the cool ones, say that. I am super sweet and all the humans adore me. Kiss my muzzle and nuzzle my soft fur. My black coats with peanut butter accents is quite stunning and you will want to rub and brush it. I am crate trained and enjoy to eat in my crate by my own choice, I just feel dining alone is nice. I also enjoy to perch on top of crates as well, to get a better view as I survey the kingdom. I got the idea from a girl dog named Bumble Bee, queen Bee, it was a good idea. If you are familiar with Australian Shepherds and enjoy having a supervisor with no tail to accompany you around the house, I’d be a great choice. Excellent actually. Basics: Ranger Rover PC- neutered male, 1 year old, 45 pounds, Australian Shepherd, black/tan, good with most dogs, good with kids, not cat tested, side kick material, shadow dog, house/crate trained, smart Location: south Texas, but can be transported out of state.
