Ranger is a very cute 6-month-old purebred black and tan Cocker Spaniel. We named him Ranger because his mask reminds us of the Lone Ranger (his foster brother Jake is apparently Tonto). Ranger weighs about 20 pounds, and has an adorable little docked tail.
Ranger has a very sweet disposition, and is good with children, dogs and cats. He is a puppy, and still needs to learn some puppy manners, but he is smart and eager to please, so he should learn quickly. He is fully crate trained, and does well in the crate all night and when you need to leave him for a couple of hours during the day. He is still working on house training, but he is catching on quickly. (After just a few days he is doing very well with this in his foster home - his previous home involved a toddler and a small child, and things were too chaotic for anyone to focus on 'potty training' Ranger.)
Ranger is energetic and playful, and would love having someone to play ball with him and to take him on walks. He likes to run around in the back yard, but he is an indoor dog who needs to be in the house with his family most of the time. He is loving and snuggly, and will make a great dog if they will only take the time to give him the guidance he craves.
Ranger's adoption fee is $200, which includes his nueter surgery and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
