Rain

Rain is an approximately 4 year old shih tzu mix. She was paralyzed in her hind legs due to intervertebral disc disease in January. She has since made a remarkable recovery and regained majority of the function of her legs. Rain is a very happy girl, always ready to play or get attention. Rain loves to be outside and go for walks. Rain cannot go up and down stairs, and cannot jump. She is pain free at this time but she is at risk for additional problems with back pain, poor function as she gets older. Rain is at first nervous around strangers, especially men, but warms up quickly if she is left to investigate new people on her own terms. (Tasty snacks help too!) Rain is friendly with other dogs. She is kennel trained and housebroken.

Since we don't know for certain what doggy genes are in the dogs make up, we are guessing on breed and size when grown.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.

Our next Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet is Saturday, April 10th at the Fetch Delivers Warehouse (2303 Kennedy St. NE in Mpls) from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend.
