RAGS is new to our rescue and was placed in foster care in North Van on May 9th. This sweet little boy just had his teeth cleaned, was neutered, dewormed and vaccinated. RAGS was a stud dog at a puppy mill in BC that went south. Rescue volunteers were fortunate enough to save him from a horrible situation. The vet guessed him at about 3 to 4 years old and weighs about 9 lbs.
RAGS is a shy, quiet boy and would be best in an adult only home. As you can see in his video RAGS is starting to become very playful and starting to enjoy life like he should. His tiny feet are still sore from living in a cage 24/7 at the puppy mill. RAGS will need reminders of his house manners but so far is house-trained in his foster home and has not had once accident. Reminders will be needed once he moves to his forever home (RAGS has come along way considering he was a mill dog and forced to eliminate where he sleeps).

PLEASE NOTE: RAGS WILL BE ADOPTED TO AN "ADULT" ONLY "QUIET" HOME. HE IS STILL VERY NERVOUS AND FRIGHTENED WHEN MEETING NEW PEOPLE AND IN NEW SURROUNDINGS. RAGS WILL NOT BE ADOPTED ACROSS THE BORDER AND WILL BE FINDING HIS FOREVER HOME HERE IN VANCOUVER.
