Raggs is a truly amazing fellow. He is about 1 to 2 years old and I don’t think he was ever groomed or brushed during most of that time (as evidenced in the last picture attached). When we took him out of the county animal shelter you could not see his eyes and he had hard knots of hair all over his body. He had a knot of hair on the top of each foot the size of another foot. It would have been impossible for him to even lay down to rest comfortably. What a shame! Even with all that, you could not meet a sweeter, kinder, little dog. He weighed 19 pounds when we took him in and he looks like he has put on a couple more pounds since his arrival. Because of the condition of his coat he had to be pretty much shaved down but his coat will grow back and he’ll look really great. Raggs is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and crate trained.
