I came into care after a while of being known to the Underdogs crew. They even did a happy dance when they finally caught me. I was elusive and was not quite sure if I wanted to go with them or not. But now that I'm here, I couldn't be happier! My foster family says that I can be completely trusted loose in the house. I catch on quickly and am already fully house trained and my leash manners are even on point! Now, I am a sweet girl, but quick movements can still scare me. I spent a lot of my life on my own and although I've learned a ton, I still have more growing left to do, I'm sure with your support, we can accomplish amazing things! I get along with everyone, but kids can make me a little uncomfortable with their speed and noise. I would prefer a home with kids 12 and older who are respectful and calm. Because I have some confidence building left to do, having a confident doggy siblings to show me things aren't so scary is a must. I have some prerequisites though; they must be playful, confident and be close to my size or bigger. The small dogs aren't scary, they just don't tend to instill me with the confidence I need. I need a family with a calming presence who will understand that I may need some extra time, support and treats to make friends with new people, especially males. I live with 2 cats who have very different personalities and do well with them both, I even enjoy grooming them sometimes! A couple of special things about me; I make the biggest eyes when I get super excited about a new treat (Every. Single. Time.), I've been known to fall asleep in the most random places and I have an amazing ability to match the temperament of every dog I have met so far. Water activates my silly side and jumping through snow or puddles can definitely launch me into a fun set of zoomies!
