My Story

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them, and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Quinny, an estimated 10wk old, female, (estimate DOB 5/2024) Pitbull Terrier/Retriever mix saved off the streets of Houston with her momma and siblings. We expect this litter to be a medium to larger breed family. The family is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Meet Quinny, this affectionate little puppy is a great little boy! Quinny is one of six brothers and one sister. Quinny plays very well with all his siblings. He loves to play and explore all kinds of toys and stays busy. Quinny was quick to learn to use puppy pads and has been consistently good since. This adorable little boy will make a great companion to his new forever family. He loves scratches and shows his affection with puppy dog kisses. Quinn is still young, so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy when he's old enough. Quinny has not been around cats or kids. We always recommend a home with kids who respect and understand animal boundaries. For younger kids, we expect parents who will supervise and help teach appropriate animal manners. He is looking for a home who has an understanding of raising puppies into adulthood. This can be prior experience or someone who will seek support as needed (training, friends/family). Puppies bring so much joy, but also need intentional and committed attention. They need help socializing with new people, other dogs, leash work and basic obedience. Puppies under 6 months of age are placed on a spay/neuter contract until they are old enough to be altered. For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will is available to spend time with this puppy while you are aware. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him?
