If you are looking for an absolute doll of a dog Quinn may be for you. Quinn was turned in as a very neglected stray with no background information however his foster mom does not believe he was on the street for long, if ever. Quinn, displays no anxiety except when he is stranded on the couch and someone opens the refrigerator door. His favorite activity is sleeping/resting on a pillow with his foster mom next to him. The vet estimates him to be 9-10 years old. He weighs 9 pounds. Quinn has a Grade II heart murmur which requires no treatment. Quinn has dry eye (common for breed) and will require daily drops. Quinn has a very healthy appetite. He gets along fine with another dog in the home although he is not really interested in playing. Quinn walks nicely on a leash and completely ignores the Sandhill Cranes. He has not been cat tested. He is crated overnight and when his family leaves the house. He wears a belly band in the crate. Training is a work in progress. Quinn can go a few days in a row with no accidents, then oops! Quinn would fit into any home where he received sufficient attention and was not left for long periods of time. Also, someone who can commit to daily eyedrop medication. SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her.
