My Story

Adoptable Quinn! Quinny girl wins BBAR superlative for "best glow up"! This girl came to us in December of 2023 so emaciated, skinny, and swollen from infection that we actually thought she was a sickly puppy when we first saw her. She now has the cutest black coloring with salt and pepper flake hairs. Her eyes are now bright with her love for life, and her smile lights up the room. Quinn is likely around 2-3 years old, and believed to be a hound mix. She is full grown at 39 pounds.  Quinn has been fostered with a lovely family and has enjoyed having both a furry foster sibling and a human foster sibling. She is very good with the baby in the home and with other dogs! She loves her people more than anything in the world, and because of that, she does get anxious when she is alone. She likely had such a terrible start to life filled with so much neglect and fear, that she craves love and stability, and wants to be closer to those who make her feel safe. Quinn does really well when crated next to her furry siblings, but if crated / left out alone, she can experience higher anxiety. Because of this, we feel that it would be best for Quinn to have another dog in the home and ideally humans who are not gone a lot, (she would make the best work from home buddy)! Don't let her desire of being close to her people outshine the big love that this girl would bring to any home! She is incredibly affectionate, docile, and loving. She would love a family that will love her and show her she is safe for the rest of her life!  Quinn is up to date on vaccinations, prevention, is spayed, and is microchipped. She was heartworm positive when first rescued but has since completed the full heartworm treatment.
