QUINCY - Paws Behind Bars Trained

QUINCY QUINCY is a one year old male shepherd/chow mix that weighs 60 lbs. (DNA test was done) He was picked up with 2 other dogs running along the interstate. The other two were claimed but apparently Quincy had strayed too far from home? Quincy made a great addition to our program. He was a scraggly fella when he came in, his coat was no where near as filled out and beautiful as it is now so we feel confident he's just at the year old mark. He has never been anything but a fun loving, big fluffy puppy. Our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program is a great next step for many of our shelter dogs. In Quincy's case, there was nothing for his inmate to "fix", but at Quincy's age, there's lots of great things to learn and learn the right way. He excelled at his obedience training (as any german shepherd would) and he continued to play nicely with EVERY OTHER DOG! We call this out because we cant say that about all of them. He is crate, leash and house trained. His perfect family will be an active one. He loves to go for car rides so he's a great "pack & play" companion. He will benefit from a fenced in yard as there is still plenty of puppy energy in there. We are recommending older children. Fun fact about his DNA - it came back with information on his biological sister, who looks just like him and lives in FL. Go figure? From KY to FL?
