Quincy

This affectionate and people-centered pup is a playful, great walking partner. Just over a year old and weighing around 55 lbs, Quincy is a Shepherd mix with a gorgeous fluffy coat. Despite a traumatic past, he has evolved remarkably over the past few months. Quincy and his three siblings were left at a shelter, displaying behavior indicating they were confined in a small space and likely had to fight for food. While the siblings don't trust each other or other dogs, they have all shown remarkable affection towards people. Quincy is looking for a one-dog home with an owner dedicated to broadening his horizons. He defers completely to his handler when on a leash and ignores other dogs, showing potential to become more dog-friendly with continued positive experiences. In the meantime, Quincy will be a fantastic companion for his humans. He is fully house-trained, has not had a single accident, and signals at the door when he needs to go out. Quincy is also crate-trained through the night and loves to lay by your feet while you work. He only barked once when he got lost upstairs but now navigates stairs and gets in and out of the car with ease. Quincy is an amazing young dog ready for his forever home!
