My Story

This little cutie is Quigley! A woman walked into our vet clinic to give him away for free. He was not being cared for so we grabbed him right up. He was intact as well as his brother so they had fighting going on. He is wildly underweight and came in with live fleas. We’ve taken care of the fleas, but he does need to continue gaining some weight. He loves basically all food so is very food motivated. We do wet and dry food morning and night. He like all bones, peanut butter and chewing toys! He does great with the fosters 3 dogs and cats but he guards all food from all other animals. He has a Chihuahua personality for sure. He is definitely an alert dog. You will know if someone comes over. We are not sure about breed but we were told pure breed chihuahua. He spent the first 6 days in the fosters house scared and growling in a cage. But with lots of hard work and treat loading he has become a new dog. He goes to work with his foster everyday and he goes in and gets treats from everyone. And then we get his weight and go into his room for a treat. He is the type of dog that needs to get to know you, not really into stranger danger. But with lots of work he had already come a long way. He loves to give kisses and is great with children almost better than he is with adults. He likes to cuddle and sit on your lap. He loves to go places with you and get treats when he is being a good boy! He loves to be outside as well! He runs fast and is fun to play with! Quigley is up to date on vaccines, neutered , has been heart worm tested negative and is on flea, tick and heart worm prevention. He is also microchipped already and registration of the chip is included in the adoption fee as well. His adoption fee is $275 We accept cash, check or card.
