Meet Queenie! This adorable girl is about 5 years old. She was given up by her owner at no fault of her own. She is a friendly and outgoing girl! She is calm and a total couch potato and would be perfectly happy spending the rest of her life cuddling in a nice warm home at someone's feet. Queenie loves kids and walks great on a leash. She is gets along with other dogs who match her energy level and she tends to be more dominant with them. She would would make a terrific companion!
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
