My Story

Introducing Queenie: A Royal Rescue Seeking Her Forever Kingdom! Her Majesty Queenie, a majestic 2.5-year-old Pitbull, has triumphed over adversity and is now ready to embark on a new chapter in her life. Her story is one of resilience, courage, and the triumph of the indomitable spirit. Background: A Tale of Triumph over Tragedy In her short two years, Queenie has faced hardships that would challenge even the bravest souls. Her journey began when she was hit by a car and left abandoned at PENNVET. The compassionate hearts at Street Tails extended their helping hands to rescue and rehabilitate this noble canine. Road to Recovery: From Surgery to Sovereignty After undergoing surgery and a period of well-deserved rest, Queenie emerged stronger than ever. She earned her crown by completing a board and train program, mastering the manners that life had denied her. This beautiful survivor has conquered adversity and is now poised to grace a loving home with her presence. The Royal Curriculum: A Well-Trained Companion During her stay with us, Queenie has not only regained her physical strength but has also undergone a transformation in behavior. The completion of a comprehensive training program ensures that she is a well-mannered and obedient companion, ready to bring joy and warmth to her new kingdom. Seeking a Royal Court: A Plea for a Loving Family Queenie's heart is now open to finding a forever family who will shower her with the royal treatment she so rightly deserves. Having spent most of her time in nurturing foster homes, she faces the unfortunate prospect of returning to rescue kennels at the end of January due to unforeseen circumstances. We believe that a return to kennels would be a setback for Queenie, undoing the progress made in her training and the bonds formed with her caregivers. A Call to Action: Long-Term Foster or Adoption We appeal to those with hearts as big as Queenie's to consider providing her with a long-term foster home or, better yet, adopting her into a family where she can continue her positive journey. Queenie is not just a survivor; she is a testament to the transformative power of love and care. Special Request: Queenie's Kingdom Needs to be Hers Alone It's important to note that Queenie thrives as the sole queen of her castle. To ensure her happiness and comfort, she is seeking a home where she can be the only pet. Queenie's heart is ready to give all its love to her human companions without the distraction of other furry friends. How to Make Queenie Your Royal Companion If you feel a connection with Queenie and are ready to open your heart and home to this regal soul, please reach out to Street Tails. Together, let's ensure that Queenie's next chapter is one of love, joy, and the warmth of a forever family.
