My Story

This happy go lucky girl is Queen. Her owner could no longer take care of her and her best buddies Jake and Lola. Jake and Lola have been adopted. The three arrived to the shelter on 7/8. Queen is 4 years old and weighs in at 55 pounds. She was an outside dog. She loves attention and knows to sit when asked. Unfortunately, Queen tested positive for heartworms, but she has completed treatment at the shelter and is ready for a loving family. Dogs who are treated for heartworms usually go on to live long and healthy lives. Queen is dreaming of a spa day and a soft bed to snooze in. Would you help Queen? Ask for ID# 660131 Run 824. She is current on vaccines and spayed; she will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
