Puzzle - I love to watch tv and play.

Puzzle is a very loyal 5 year old, petite-sized, Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 30 lbs. He is intelligent, sweet, friendly, lovable and very loyal to his person. He had surgery for a broken back and it was also apparent that he had a broken leg which healed incorrectly at a 95 degree angle (when it should be 45). Despite this we have not marked him as "special needs" as Puzzle is still a very playful, fun-loving, and happy boy. He gets around just fine with little to no assistance. He does have wheels to help on longer walks if needed but would prefer not to use them if he can help it. Puzzle loves to be in the yard with his ball and play and is happiest when he is with his person. He is in his element when he has you and his toys to play with and the tv on. He would need a home that can provide him with his daily exercise such as going for walks, running around the yard, and playing fetch. He would not do well in an apartment or condo. We recommend that puzzle be an only dog. While he does get along just fine with some dogs, he likes to be the "dog in charge" of the house which some dogs may not appreciate. While Puzzle loves all people, he would do best in a home without young children. He can be a bit of a rough player and might miss the toy by a fraction and catch them with his teeth on accident while playing. Puzzle will need someone who is home often as he won't do very well being left alone for long periods of time or in a crate. He is very loyal and loves his family and will provide you with a lifetime of love and companionship in return. Puzzle gets around the house just fine and can climb stairs he can even swim! He loves to go for walks. He will need assistance getting up into your lap or on the couch, or on the bed. In his foster home he uses steps. He loves to be on the couch with you and watch tv. He even knows when his favorite advertisements are coming on.
