Meet Puppy! This senior lady is looking for a couch to snuggle on! Puppy came to us as the result of an Animal Control cruelty investigation. The case is ongoing but Puppy has been released for adoption. She deserves to live out her life in a home. Puppy is a lab mix, senior dog, reported to be about 13 years old but with quality life left for her. Her vet exam revealed overall good health with some weakness in her hind end (which is not unexpected given her age) and a case of conjunctivitis (now treated). She is not currently on any medications but may benefit from a joint supplement. She does appear to be mostly deaf but can still hear loud calls/whistles. Puppy previously lived with children and there were cats at the home also. Puppy has not met any of the other dogs at the shelter due to her being too relaxed and sophisticated for all of the young hoodlums here.
