Punky

Punky is a beautiful 3-year old female Mastiff/(possible) Boxer mix who was surrendered by her family on July 15, 2024. Punky has a pale brown short smooth coat with a large white bib on her chest, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with black shading around her brown 'teddy bear' eyes, and semi-erect ears. Her family told us that Punky had been in their home since she was a 6-week old puppy. Punky is good with her people friends (including children), but she is not good with other dogs. Punky's exercise routine consisted of spending time in the fenced-in yard, but her favorite routine was being a lap dog (smile). When she was frightened, Punky would climb in bed with her people. Punky's favorite pastimes are cuddling on the couch and enjoying stuffed toys. Punky weighs 56 lbs and isn't a very large dog when you see her in person. These photos were taken late in the afternoon on July 20, 2024 when HSOV Kennel Tech Wyatt Valentine spent time with Punky in our outdoor photo area. She displayed her sweet disposition and loved attention from Wyatt that day. Punky will be spayed before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized. Punky could be fostered with an approved HSOV foster/adoption application.
