Favorite Toys: Boomer ball, bones, bones, and more bones
Ideal Day: Waking up in a warm bed with my family, rolling over and going back to sleep. I'd love to share breakfast with my family and kiss them goodbye as they leave for work. While they're gone I'd watch the birds and squirrels out of the window, I'd take a midday nap, and then wait patiently for my family to come home.
Big Pun is an amazing boy...talk about an easy dog. Pun is a great cuddler and a lap dog for sure! If you're ready for a big best friend who wants nothing more than to hang out on the couch with you then Pun is your boy. Pun acts like a big cat, as he rubs up against you and nuzzles you as he cuddles.
Last year Pun was rescued off of deathrow where his previous owner left him full of heartworms and near death. Because the heartworms were so advanced they began to effect his lungs. We spent the time and money to treat Pun and he has grown into such a cuddle bug. The only set back our Big Pun has is from the heartworms that infested his lungs. He does not require extensive or intense exercise as it is hard on him. But Pun certainly doesn't let that stop him from living life to the fullest. He makes the best of the boarding run he is in by chewing on his bones and toys and napping. Pun would be the easiest dog one could have, but we think he deserves a warm bed and couch where he can spend time with his forever family.
Pun rides well in the car, walks well on the leash, and loves to saunter around the park and smell the flowers on his walks. Pun has excellent manners and knows basic commands. Pun's favorite part of his day in boarding is when MABBR's volunteer comes to walk him. While he tires easy, Pun loves to take in the outside world. Pun can be pretty selfish when it comes to attention and would do better as an only pet. Right now Pun really needs a foster home to show him the love and attention that he so deserves.
