Prince

Update on Prince. His surgery was successful and so far recovery is going well. It looks like he has found his forever family and they are patiently waiting for him to be able to meet him. We would of course still welcome donations (use the sponsor me logo) to help offset his extra expenses. Prince is a special case. He is larger than your typical yorkie at 14 pounds but has an incrediably sweet personality. That sweet personality is evident even though he was turned into animal control with a broken leg. He is having FHO surgery today (1/14) to correct what forunately appears to be a recent clean break. Our vet in confident that with his small size and youth (he's about a year old) he will make a speedy recovery and do fine. Even with the back leg that he couldn't use and that had to be hurting him, he was doing a great job of greeting everyone and wagging his tail at animal control, here at home and at the vets. He will of course have to have some time to recover from surgery before he can be adopted but we wanted to start looking for his forever family so that they can be waiting when he is ready. All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea prevention. Our adoption fee is $125.00 for all of our dogs and puppies.
