How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member. Why this pet is the one for you: One ear up and one ear down. That is the very special Potter and his ears are not the only thing that makes Potter special. He is house trained as he whines at the front of his kennel when he needs to go out to do his business and then he patiently waits for us. He is easy to leash and take out. He follows us back to and then waits until we get into his kennel before he will walk in. He is a mellow guy who will surely blossom in the comforts of a caring family. He might prefer being the only dog in a more quiet household. He is getting to learn that toys and ball playing are fun and he would like more. He will appreciate some protected outside space that he can call his own. Being a mellow guy, he will probably want to curl up next to you while you relax because he will want to also relax. We don't know if those ears will stay one up and one down but they sure are cute as is his tongue that is usually hanging out and his tail that likes to wag when he is around people he trusts. Do you want to be one of those people who he trusts? Can you give him all the comforts of a good home, including not letting him alone for long periods? Do you want mellow and sweet Potter by your side through life's ups and downs? Because that is where he will be if you take him home. Come to meet sweet Potter with the funny ears. Bring a leash.
