When Debby's last GSD girl passed away it was a long time until she was ready to fall in love again. Five years later has adopted Posy, who possessed the same sparkle in her eyes. Thank-you to Maggie for fostering Posy and her siblings, Allouette for training Posy, and most of all Debby for falling for everything that is Posy.
Posy is the timid one of the bunch, but is learning all about being a braver pup. She is very GSD-like in appearance, with a very delicate frame and demeanour. She has the cutest little mohawk cow-lick on the top of her head, and unlike her other sisters, a wirey feeling coat. She would love to find a dog-savvy home with another dog to be friends with!
"Posy is going to grow up to be a really great dog. She's very smart and seems to learn incredibly quickly, whether it's housetraining or basic commands like sit and stay, which she picked up almost immediately. You'd be amazed at how good a pupil she is when food is involved! She's a very curious dog who loves to explore, but she seems to be at her absolute happiest when she's chewing on a bone. With us she slept through the night perfectly, cuddling up against us in bed, and she also took to her crate straight away. All in all she's a great puppy who thoroughly deserves a forever home."
Posy is one of the 4 "flower" sisters. At 3 months of age these gals are well-socialized and fun. Currently living on a farm with a slew of people, dogs, cats, and many farm animals. They have been well-loved from the get-go and are looking for homes that have the time and patience to raise a pup up right. They are quite laid-back as far as puppies go, and are excellent family companions. They will likely weigh 50-70 lbs. when full-grown.
They will chew, bark, whine, pee, eat, and repeat for a good while to come. they need to attend puppy and basic obedience classes to ensure they grow up to be well-socialized adult with nice manners.
They will be spayed, microchipped, tattooed, dewormed, deflead and vaccinated prior to adoption. Their adoption is $200 to help cover these vet bills.
