**Adoption Pending** Portia is a 1-year-old Doberman mix with natural ears and a docked tail. Homeless as a young puppy and sick with a very bad case of mange, she was saved by a good Samaritan who took her to a veterinarian for treatment and then called us. It has taken many months of care to bring Portia back to health. She is now mange free and has been spayed and is ready for a home. Portia is a great dog: she is very dog-social and loves people. She is exceptionally smart and easy to train; she can really focus. She has a medium energy level and she is gentle. We think Portia is Doberman mixed with some type of herding dog. She weighs 55 pounds and will probably be around 60-65 pounds when mature. Portia is crate trained.
