Porter

Porter came to BHRG from the shelter in Forsyth County where he was found as a stray. He's now with his foster family and is doing great! He gets along fine with other dogs and with kids. He enjoys playing with cats too and cat be a bit rough, so if there's cats in his adoptive family, they need to be dog-savvy. This guy is 5 years old and is red & white. He's neutered, micro-chipped, and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. Porter is a real sweetheart who loves Vienna sausages and belly rubs. He can't jump onto the bed, but once we put him on there he acts like he's in heaven. Porter loves attention and has to know where you are at if you're not with him. plays rough with kittens. He usually sleeps on the sofa or in his crate which he goes into on his own. He's working on gaining some weight and learning housetraining. UPDATE: Porter injured his back while playing with his foster brother and has undergone surgery. He's still recovering and is learning to stand and walk again.
