"Porter; 55 lbs 2 years old. He has not had much experience with children, but I think he would do fine there. He has never attacked any of his pack mates, and avoids aggressive situations. Very active. If you don't walk him he'll chase his tail. He's quite vocal. Moans when you pet him. Leans strong into affection. He would have been the perfect dog for me when I was 10. He has a very soft mouth. He was a real lummox when i found him but i've taught him to play nice. He'll stay in a crate when we're out. I usually put him there, just so he and his girl friend Penny, don't knock stuff over, but otherwise, he is fine by himself with the run of the house. He is not one to bark at people on the street. Good walker! My best Walker. He pretty much knows all the commands. including QUIET. This boy is ready to go!"
This gorgeous boy was found wandering the streets about to get hit in traffic. A very dedicated friend to the bullies, stopped and saved his life.
Porter is too thin and appears to have been in a couple of fights before, we imagine he didn't come from a great home. He is showing so far to get along well with other dogs with supervision and is beyond wonderful with people. He is so thankful to be alive.
Bully Porter needs a foster home immediately - or a forever home would be even better. Please consider this boy for your home. He's very special and deserves to spend the rest of his days living the good life.
