Poppy is a seven-year-old Shih Tzu/Lhasa apso mix that weighs 16 pounds and he is a little on the chubby side! He is a very gentle natured little guy that has an easy-going disposition.
He has been good with his foster siblings, but he would probably be content being an only dog, unless, his new brother or sister was laid-back.
We do not have any history on him. He was rescued from a local shelter, so it would be best if he went to a home that had children over the ages of eight. He is a non-shedding dog and will require a regular trip to the groomers every 8 to 10 weeks.
It’s important that is new Family take him on walks and put him on a diet so that he can drop a couple of pounds.
