ADOPTED! Poppy is such a unique little creature! She looks like a cross between Yoda (in Star Wars) and Toto (in the Wizard of Oz). She is very loving and would enjoy belonging to someone who would spend lots of "cuddling" time with her. Poppy is a tiny thing. She weighs just 12 lbs. (and is presently a bit on the chubby side) but she thinks she is a big dog (and is the "boss" of all of our other dogs). She is good with dogs (and cats) but she wouldn't mind being an "only child" so that she could have her owner's undivided attention. She is close to being housebroken (and will use newspapers on the floor if her owner is gone too long).
Poppy would make a wonderful companion for a senior citizen or for a handicapped homebound person. Poppy is a very special little dog, and we are looking for an equally special family or individual to adopt her.
