This sweet scruffy girl is Poppy. Her life started as a stray in Alabama. Now at 6 months old, approximately 40lbs, she has arrived in Wi and is ready to chase her dreams...a place to finally call home Poppy is loving, friendly and intelligent! She's a confident pup who will greet you with a wagging tail, excited to receive your affection and touch each day. Everyone she meets is a friend! Her outgoing and sweet demeanor makes her a wonderful partner for all of life's great adventures, or some simple hanging out in the back yard! Mental stimulation is something Poppy thrives on! The perfect people for Poppy will be ready to give her the challenge she needs to exhaust her mentally. Providing her different sources of enrichment activities, new places to explore and time to run out her energy! Currently, she is working on her puppy manners. Such as basic commands, leash training and house manners--like counter surfing for yummy food! She would benefit from continued training sessions and enjoys them too! After her mental and physical fulfillment, she's ready to lay her head down and take a snooze. Poppy loves snuggling up and getting her belly rubbed Due to her unique intelligence, she would do best in a home who will continue her kennel training so she can be the best girl she was made to be! Poppy is good with other dogs with correct introductions. She is interested in cats but young enough to work with a dog savvy kitty on safely coexisting in a home. Fostered currently with 4 older kiddos (9-14yrs) and loves the attention she receives from them. This sweetheart deserves the very best!
