PONYO - SPECIAL NEEDS (please inquire for more information) What kind of person drops off their beloved family member at a boarding facility, says they’ll be back in two days and is never seen or heard from again? After multiple attempts, the staff finally reached the owners. Their response was they were not coming back for him. Imagine you are Ponyo, waiting day after day, and one day becomes two, then two days becomes a week and then a month. At what point do dogs give up hope? Akitas are known for their fierce loyalty and devotion. Sadly, in this instance his loyalty was rewarded with betrayal. Thankfully, Ponyo is resilient and his joy of freedom overshadowed his despair. He’s 4yrs old and is a happy, fun-loving boy. He is best as an only dog and requires an experienced Akita owner. Ponyo has some special needs that we are finding out more about.
