Pony Boy TX

This is Pony! Despite what his past may have been, he is no worse for wear. Rescued at the last moment from a kill shelter in Houston Texas, Pony is currently living a good life at his fosters home with two fur-sisters and two toddlers. Foster mom tells us that he is such a lover, a good boy just happy to please you. He's super super super sweet & follows you around like a puppy. He loves just walking around the yard smelling flowers, watching birds and squirrels for an old man He's so attentive. Pony would like to spend his days napping on the couch or preferably in someone's lap. He is house trained but needs to be let out often due to his older age. He would be best suited with someone who works from home or is retired. He loves short walks around the block or just puttering around the back yard. He gets along with people young and old and with dogs large and small. He has never been around a cat but we imagine it would be a non issue. He's just an easy going guy looking to be loved on. We believe Pony Boy is about 10 years old and he weighs 17 pounds. He has some scars on his face so I'm sure he hasn't had the easiest life but things are looking up for Pony Boy now that he's safe although he does have some health issues. He apparently has kidney disease and will need to be on prescription food for the rest of his life. He also has cataracts but doesn't seem to be affected by his limitations. Pony Boy deserves to live the rest of his life in a comfy home.
