Poe

Poe is a beautiful beagle boy with golden eyes who is full of spunk & love. Poe is a small beagle (or beagle mix boy) about 25 lbs, with legs shorter than the average beagle, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. His foster parents call him Underdog for the way he can jump through the air when he gets the zoomies! Poe is funny little fellow, who is easily excited which results in some amazing acrobats during his zoomies! When not zooming around with his beagle buddies, he is perfectly happy to lie on the sofa with you while you read or watch TV. Like most beagles, Poe loves treats and will come running for one every chance he gets. He is skittish around people he doesn’t know; it will take him a little time to get used to a new home, but once he does he is quite the lover & will be your furever companion. He is cat friendly and friendly with other dogs once he gets to know them. In his foster home, he prefers to play with beagles his own size best. Poe likes to have a crate handy for downtime so he can relax in the quiet; he also likes to sleep in a crate, although he has not been crate trained with the door closed.
