All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Hi there! I'm Poco, your new buddy! Woof! I'm a 3-year-old Chihuahua Dachshund mix, full of energy and love! I'm happiest when I'm with people because being alone makes me a bit anxious and a bit barky. I get along great with some doggos, and I especially prefer small female dogs. I'd enjoy being the center of attention as your one and only or having a compatible dog friend. My friends say I've got this perfect mix of cuteness and judgy eyes. When I give you that look, you'll know exactly what I mean! Apartment life isn't really my thing because I tend to express myself vocally when left alone. But put me in a car and I'm ready for an adventure! I adore car rides almost as much as belly rubs! When it's time for a walk, I'm a champ on the leash. Let's go explore together! Can't wait to meet you and share lots of cuddles and playtime! All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
