Poco

PLEASE READ THIS BIO IN ITS ENTIRETY!!! Poco may be small and outrageously cute, but he has all the high drive and intelligence of a real terrier, as well as some residual anxiety to work through. This little barely 3 old guy came from a very bad place indeed. Poco is looking for a special person who will continue take his "calmness" training seriously. He does have some basic obedience skills down, but he will need continued practice with meeting NEW people and being patient and calm. He still gets over-excited easily in some circumstances. Poco is great with other friendly dogs, although he is understandably a little reserved upon first meeting very large dogs. He loves hiking (especially off-leash) and likes to play with his toys about 8 hours/day. He would LOVE to have a friendly small or medium-sized dog sibling to spend his days with. Poco is a sweet and cuddly boy when around people he knows and trusts. He is housetrained and crate trained, neutered and current on vaccines. NO small children and NO cats! NO apartments, condos or townhouses and NO dense urban environment, please. Secure fencing a must in a quiet rural or suburban setting. Another calm amiable canine on site will be preferred. Poco is located in Ephrata. Washington. His adoption fee is $200. Transportation within the Pacific Northwest to the right adopter can be arranged.
