Hi I am Pluto!
I came to the SCAS after I was surrendered by my owner for being "too aggressive" after I got into a fight with another dog over food (I'm not sure why I needed to be fed with them to begin with). I am only 8 months old and am still very much a baby and other than knowing the command "sit", I have not had much training or exposure to the outside world and the shelter environment is not a great environment for that. I am a very sweet boy but I will need some extra patience and understanding that, while I may be an older kid, I am going to need to be socialized and brought up to speed like a pup several months younger.
I would probably do best in a home with older or no kids but I have so much potential for the right family. I would likely do best without other pups in the home and I am not sure what I would do with cats.

As Pluto has been neutered, there are no restrictions on adoption and anyone in and outside Stafford County is eligible to adopt him.
