P.K.: Adoption Pending!

12/30/10 - Adoption Pending!! Lucky P.K. is goingin to the A.D.O.P.T. program to learn how to live like a real dog in a home...lucky pup!! P.K. is STILL at the shelter....EIGHT YEARS - that's a long time to live in a shelter. He is about 10 years old, and enjoys the daily life here, but would love to finally have a home of his own. He gets along with everyone but does lack confidence. He needs someone to give him a chance and to show him what life outside of a shelter is like. P.K. is eligible for our A.D.O.P.T. program (adult dogs offered professional training) where we send long time residents to live in the home of a professional dog trainer for up to 2 weeks. There they learn the basics of home life, crate training and general acclimation to life out of a shelter. This is one of our most successful programs and it is free to all approved adopters of long time residents. If you have a place in your heart to save a most deserving dog, consider P.K. I was dropped at the shelter one night so my friends here don't know a lot about where I came from. I have been at the shelter for a long time, though, and everyone here has gotten to know and love me. Can you blame them?? I am a sweetheart, after all! I'm an affectionate boy who loves to get hugs.
