PJ was picked up as a stray but has no obvious "issues" of abuse or abandonment. This is one of the happiest, friendliest, fun-loving chihuahuas ever! He loves other dogs and is happy to meet people. PJ weighs less than 10 lbs and approx 1 yr old. He appears to be housetrained.
WHAT MUST I DO TO ADOPT?
All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at: www.canineshelterrescue.org Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
