My Story

Meet Pipsqueak, Pip for short! Pip is a 10 month old terrier/pug mix. He's a really fun guy that thinks having a great time is his job! He is a high energy little dog that loves to cuddle. He has the energy of a Jack Russell Terrier, and the bark and cute little curly tail of a Pug! Pip loves to play with toys and he loves to wrestle and play with other dogs. He definately needs an owner that understands the terrier energy and stubbornness! He will need to go to a home that will not baby him and that has another balanced dog (big or small) that will help keep Pip on the straight and narrow. Pip is a follower and needs a leader. If left to his own devices, Pip will try to run the world and no one needs a Pip running the world! lol! He is so much happier being a follower in a pack. Have I told you that Pip LOVES to play! And he is vocal when he plays. He will "talk" to you when you talk to him and he will quietly "complain" when he has to wait his turn for treats. He is crate trained and will let you know when he needs to go out to go potty. He is housebroken. He is leash trained but he does pull at first because he is excited and he's a really good road dog. We won't place him with kids younger than 12 because he is still mouthy (he's a pup) and we are still working on that. But you know how stubborn terriers are! Overall, Pip is a good boy but he needs a home that will focus and direct his energy and won't let him get away with everything just because he is cute and snuggly. He thrives on structure and discipline. And if you want a buddy that has the stamina and personality of a big dog but comes in a teeny, tiny package then Pip is your man!Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time.
