My Story

PIPPIN IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Pippin will some to the rescue on Thanksgiving Day. He's very tiny -- the temporary foster home bathed him in her kitchen sink! He's not as shy as we anticipated, and is enjoying the good life as part of a family. He's making great strides with house training. He goes to the vet on Monday, 11/26, and we'll get a better idea of his age. He will be fully vaccinated, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), neutered (if not already done and it's medically possible due to age), microchipped, and will have his teeth cleaned (if needed). We will also do a full senior blood panel on him. If you are interested in Pippin, please fill out the application (located on the "pet list" page) and send it in. We strive to place our shelties in the best possible home for them, which means we reserve the right to turn down any applicant if we feel they are not a good match for the sheltie they want. This is not a shelter -- all rescues are housed in foster homes and the person who runs this rescue works full time, so please be patient. *****updated 11/19/07
