Meet Piper!
This beautiful 7 yr old girl found herself in an NC shelter and was taken into our rescue. Piper has been in a foster home, but really needs to find a family of her own. She is approximately 60 lbs, spayed and heartworm negative.
Piper is quite delightful, engaging and loves to be petted on her head. She seems to have a smile on her face at times and walks with a commanding 'prancing' presence!!
Piper needs a confident human pack leader and experienced dog owner. She must go to a "no cat" home and she is selective with dogs. Her new foster dad is a very experienced dog owner and Piper has been able to engage with other dogs and actually is play bowing and seemingly wanting to play. We will be very careful about placement in a home with other dogs.
If she goes to a home as the only dog, we believe she will make a wonderful companion and walking partner. She is quiet and well mannered in the home.
We believe she will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
