My Story

To apply or learn more, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2024/6/25/the-dutch-litter Meet the Dutch Litter! PIM (male) is one of five lab puppies were dropped off at an overcrowded shelter at just 1 day old without their mom. After being saved just before their euthanasia time, they have been in doting foster homes being bottle-fed & tended to 24/7. They have had much more socialization than a typical puppy would have. They have been exposed to many helping hands, and canine foster siblings. Their foster parents have already started desensitizing them to loud sounds, toe nail trims, and and baths. (They are all in foster with veterinary professionals) They are in a foster home in Vista, California. Born on June 3rd, this litter will have pre-adoption meet and greets starting at six weeks old, and can go to their forever homes on their eight week birthday having had their first DHPP vaccines and microchip. Ideal home will have the time to commit to all things puppy! Long work schedule where the puppy would be left alone for 7+ hours without a potty break can be difficult on most puppies and young dogs. Solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure and continued training + relationship building -- commitment not just to puppyhood but to a lifetime of love, care, companionship and vetting. Interested in adopting? 1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application 2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call! 3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home
