My Story

Your beautiful "dumpling"....I've been waiting my whole life to meet you! My name is Pierogi (dumpling in Polish) and I spent my entire 9 years in a breeders cage! I'm a 15 pound beautiful pomeranian gal, whom can be carried everywhere. Now I have a new lease on life! I don't yet know exactly what I am supposed to be doing, like going potty on the grass or walking on a leash, but I am learning! Everything is different and new, and I am a bit scared. As a dog who lived in a breeding environment, I was deprived of all of the pleasures that normal dogs living in homes experience. My personality will only be revealed over time as I transition from the puppy mill to a home. It is important to know that I will need a family who is patient and unconditionally loving as I learn lots of new things at my own pace. Your patience will be rewarded ten-fold with a wonderful and sweet companion. Due to the fact that I don't know how to walk on the leash yet, I will need a home with a fenced yard. I would love to have a calm environment...without a lot of noise...or little ones running around since I am still very nervous. I will need another dog in my home as well to help me feel confident. My ideal family will be home more often than not so that I can have consistent training. I will need patience, love, understanding, compassion, forgiveness, calmness, empathy and perseverance. I may be a scared soul now, but with your love and support, I'll become a symbol of resilience and affection.
