Currently located in Guerrero, Mexico Mucho Aloha! We are twin boys, Otto and Pickle! Our early days were full of uncertainty as we were two pups out of a litter of 7 born on the street. Thanks to some amazing volunteering surfers, we are here today to tell you our story. We were born in the slums of Lazaro Cardenas in Mexico. Our mom was a street dog who had the good fortune of meeting a kind surfer just before she gave birth to us and our 5 sisters. There were so many of us that our rescuer didn't know what to do at first, but he started by feeding our mom so she had the nutrients to feed all 7 of us too! He searched and searched for help, and luckily, a rescue program in Lazaro took our 5 sisters while Surfers for Strays agreed to help us two boys. With the help of some donors, we were transported to the rescue center in Zihua where we received medical treatment so we are strong and healthy for our next phase of life... hopefully that includes an upcoming flight to the US or Canada! We mesmerized everyone with our cuteness and beautiful brindle coats! We are ready to find a home and a family willing to take time to train us and give us the love and attention we deserve. We are social fellows as we live with many other dogs of all sizes and even with some cats. We sleep in a smaller kennel and eat in a crate, but we are not fully crate trained yet. We have mastered the art of play though! We love to play with balls, chase sticks, romp around with each other, and crash afterwards in your lap! We cannot wait to find our own families in the future that will take us on adventures and cuddle with us at home! Sending kisses and face licks from Mexico!!
