Phyllis is a gentle giant with a soft mouth who loves to play and explore a nice, open space. Phyllis would greatly benefit from having easy access to a fenced in yard of her very own. She absolutely loves to play with toys and sticks be it with her human friends or on her own. Phyllis can be a bit challenging to walk on busy streets as she gets easily overwhelmed and once that happens it can be difficult to get her moving again. That being said, Phyllis is doing very well at mastering the "1, 2, 3, find it!" game which has significantly improved her motivation to follow her handler. We have found that Phyllis generally walks better the more familiar she is with the environment.
Phyllis will happily enjoy her dinner in her crate and is learning to see her crate as a comfortable and safe space. Phyllis loves other dogs and is learning to play nicely and politely with her canine friends.
We believe that with consistency and plenty of enrichment opportunities, Phyllis will thrive as a best friend and family member. Most importantly, Phyllis is a great big melt in your arms cuddle bug.
