My Story

This poor fellow was confiscated by the county dog warden along w/ a dozen other Alaskan Huskies (and Siberian Huskies) from an owner who had them all chained out w/ no food or water. They were all emaciated, just walking skeletons, and many were ill. We pulled this lucky fellow from the overcrowded pound, and he is making a great recovery. He is doing well in his foster home, now very active and playful. *** Pharaoh (his brother was Phoenix) romps and wrestles w/ the other dogs, loves to run, loves to wiggles up to his foster mom and dad to be petted on the couch while watching TV. Very submissive and gentle, about 2 years old. He is making good progress on housetraining and walks nicely on a leash. He weighs about 45-50 lbs and is 22 inches tall. Pics available. *** He is an "Alaskan Husky" which is a breed developed for sled dog races, a result of crossing Greyhounds w/ Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, and similar breeds. *** We do not have any cats, but most Huskies will chase cats. *** As for all our dog adoptions, we require a securely fenced yard for the safety of the dog.
