Say hello to PETEY THE SWEETIE, the lovable pit/staffie mix in search of his forever home! Petey is 3 yrs old and weighs 65 lbs. PETEY has been patiently waiting for a family to call his own, and it's time to show the world that pit bulls like him deserve it- he was pulled from the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a staff favorite after being there over 180 days. PETEY is an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. He had the opportunity to explore the vibrant atmosphere of the Dallas Farmers Market, where his friendly nature shone through as he interacted with people and enjoyed the sights and sounds. He has never met someone he didn't like and loved the attention he got, giving kisses and trying to sit in people's laps. He also did some shopping and tried to join in a night Ghost Tour ? Despite his amazing personality and wonderful adventures, PETEY has yet to find his perfect match. We believe that by sharing his story and tagging this post, we can give PETEY the exposure he truly deserves. Pit bulls, like PETEY, often face unfair stereotypes and misconceptions. But PETEY is a shining example of the love and loyalty these dogs are capable of. He is eager to shower his future family with endless affection, playfulness, and companionship.
