Introducing Peter: A Story of Resilience and Hope Meet Peter, a courageous 4-year-old black and white spotted Jack Russell blend, weighing 19 pounds of pure determination. Peter's journey hasn't always been easy, but his spirit shines brighter now than ever before. Life wasn't fair to this brave boy - he spent his days confined to a tiny crate, hindering his natural growth and mobility. But today, Peter is defying all odds! With the love and care of his San Diego foster family, he's taking his first steps towards a brighter future. Peter has been to 3 orthopedic doctors and they all have agreed that this is just the way this boy is and with time his mobility will improve! He is currently in a loving foster home in San Diego and even though he has only been there a short while he is already walking and following his foster mom all around the house. He is great with other dogs and very friendly with all people. He is a low energy and loves to cuddle and chill at home. He is doing great with potty training!
