Meet Peter Meet Peter! This little guy is one lucky pup. Not only is Peter a handsome little pup, but he is smart, funny and well socialized. Peter is only 15lbs and 4 months old. He is a pit bull mix and will likely grow up to be a big boy at 60lbs, judging from his giant paws. At just 3 weeks old, Peter and the rest of his litter were separated from their mother and sold at a Walmart parking lot in East Texas. Peter was only 4lbs at intake and in rough condition. He was extremely dehydrated with bloody diarrhea. Thankfully, he tested negative for parvo and went to a foster home to start on dewormer and antibiotics. Peter took a while to heal from his gut issues, but over the last few months, he has thrived in a Houston foster home. He is now ready to debut to the world and find his forever family! Peter is growing up to be an exceptional pup. He is smart as a whip- already kennel trained, learning to walk on a leash, and friendly with dogs, cats, and children. He is snuggly and chill with short bursts of puppy energy. For such a young puppy, Peter is very calm and well-behaved. This guy might be the diamond ? of the season! He will be a big boy but has all the makings of a breed ambassador with his laid-back personality and gentle temperament.
