Hi, my name is Peter, but my foster mom calls me Petey. I'm a male Australian Shepard mix who was born around January 2006. I have been neutered, am up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. When I was 3 months old I was found on the side of the road with a broke leg and a bad case of mange. CAAWS has fixed me up and now I'm as good as new. I'm housebroken, love water and I love all people and other dogs. My foster mom says I'm very smart, which is a characteristic for an Aussie. If you have never owned an Aussie before please do some research on the breed. Aussies are working dogs and are very smart, but also get bored very easily and they need a fenced in yard to run in. Ideally Petey would love another dog to play with. Do you think you can give this boy a family of his own?
