Perry ~ Adoption Pending

Perry has found his forever home in Gloucester, MA with Bridget M. and John B. Perry is a 2 year old German Shepherd mix weighing 46 lbs. (His dad is purebred and pictured in the last pic of Perry's bio) He came into rescue with his half sister Peach (also available on our site) when their owner could no longer care for them. Perry has average energy and gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is both crate and house trained and walks well on leash. Perry is a playful boy who likes the water, car rides, going for car rides and being petted. He is really a well rounded guy and a joy to be around. If you love Shepherds, but want to skip the puppy stage, Perry may be the right dog for you! You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old.
